Reduced Enforcement of On-Street Parking –

City of Toronto

With residents practicing physical distancing, many are working from home and this naturally means parking vehicles on local roads for longer periods of time.

Parking Enforcement will be temporarily suspended for several offences, including:

  • On-Street Permit Parking Areas such a 1, 2 and 3 Hour Parking

  • Expired Vehicle Validation License Plates

  • Boulevard Parking

  • School Zones with posted No Stopping/No Standing/No Parking Signage

Officers have been advised to use discretion for parking offences which continue to be enforced, including no stopping and no standing areas, rush hour routes as well as metered parking spots.
